Post Matric Scholarship is to be awarded for the students belonging to the Minority Communities in India to provide them a better opportunities for higher education.
Post Matric Scholarship Scheme Details
Post Matric Scholarship will be given to students studying in India in a government or private higher secondary school/college/university, including such residential institutes of the Government and eligible private institutes selected and notified in a transparent manner by the State Government/Union Territory Administration concerned. It will also cover technical and vocational courses in Industrial Training Institutes/ Industrial Training Centres affiliated with the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) of classes XI and XII level.
Post Matric Scholarship scheme will be implemented through the State Government/ Union Territory Administration.
Post Matric Scholarship (PMS) - Who can Apply
1. Scholarship will be awarded to the students who have secured not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination
2. Annual income of whose parents/guardian from all sources does not exceed Rs.2.00 lakh.
3. Applicants should be the First Year student of
i. Plus Two/ UG/ PG/ Ph.D Course of Higher Secondary School/ College/ Institutes/ University, which is either a Govt/ Aided/Recognised Unaided Institution.
OR
ii. 11th Class/Technical/ Vocational Course of ITI/ITC Centres affiliated to NCVT.
OR
iii. Course, other than those listed in under merit-cum-means scholarship scheme. The names of courses listed under Merit-cum-means scholarship are given in See Instructions for details.
4. Applicants Should belong to Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain and Zoroastrians (Parsis).
5. Should not be availing any other Scholarship or Stipend.

(ii) The list of documents to be scanned & uploaded for both Fresh and Renewal
Scholarships as under:
a) Student Photo. (Mandatory).
b) Institution Verification Form. (Mandatory).
c) Self declaration of Income Certificate by the student. (Mandatory).
d) Self declaration of community by the student. (Mandatory).
e) In case of Fresh: Self Attested Certificate of Previous Academic Mark sheet as filled in Form. (Mandatory).
f) In case of Renewal: Self-Attested Certificate of Previous Year Marksheet as filled in the Form. (Mandatory).
g) Fee Receipt of current course year. (Mandatory).
h) Proof of Bank Account in the name of student. (Mandatory).
i) Aadhaar Card (optional).
j) Residential Certificate. (Mandatory).
