The Directorate of Education (DOE) will be organising the National Means cum Merit Scholarship (NMMS) every year for students of class 8th studying at any Government or Aided schools.
UP NMMS Exam Date : November 9th, 2025 (09-11-2025)
Students can download the NMMS answer Key UP from the states respective SCERT website. Eligibility and Exam Dates will be announced through official website.
NMMS Result 2026-27 / NMMS Score
Those students who scores 40% of marks are considered as qualified in NMMS. The selected students who are qualified in NMMS examination will get an amount of Rs. 12,000/- per annum. This scholarship amount will be valid for a period of four years from the qualifying year. The NMMS Result 2026-27 will be released by the respective states SCERT authority. The students can check NMMS result online by using their user name and password through SCERT web site. The result will be released in state wise.

NMMS परीक्षा एक सत्र में दो भागों में आयोजित होगी
(l) प्रथम भाग : सामान्य मानसिक योग्यता परीक्षण – जिसमें 90 बहुविकल्पीय प्रश्न होंगे।
(ll) द्वितीय भाग : शैक्षिक अभिरुचि परीक्षण – जिसमें 90 बहुविकल्पीय प्रश्न (35 विज्ञान, 35 सामाजिक विज्ञान एवं 20 प्रश्न गणित) होंगे।
NMMS 2026-27 परीक्षा की तिथि तथा समय
प्रथम भाग के लिए 90 मिनट का समय निर्धारित है (शारीरिक रूप से चुनौतीग्रस्त अभ्यर्थियों के लिए 120 मिनट का समय) तथा द्वितीय भाग के लिए 90 मिनट (शारीरिक रूप से चुनौतीग्रस्त अभ्यर्थियों के लिए 120 मिनट का समय) का समय निर्धारित है|

NMMS Scholarship Amount
Students those who have qualified the examination will be awarded with a scholarship amount. Students have to open a joint account along with their parents to receive the scholarship amount. students will be awarded with a yearly scholarship of Rs. 12000 (Rs.1000 per month).
