FEATURES AND OBJECTIVES OF CALICUT UNIVERSITY 4 YEAR DEGREE (CUFYUGP) Courses
The features and objectives of the Calicut University Four Year Under Graduate Programmes (CUFYUGP) shall be as follows:
1. The practice of lateral entry of students to various years exists, but an exit with a Degree shall be awarded only upon successful completion of the third year.
2. CUFYUGP shall have three Broad Pathways, (a) 3-year UG Degree, (b) 4-year UG Degree (Honours), and (c) 4-year UG Degree (Honours with Research).
3. Students who choose to exit after 3 years shall be awarded UG Degree in their respective Major Discipline after the successful completion of the required minimum of courses of total 133 credits.
4. A four year UG Degree (Honours) in the Major Discipline shall be awarded to those who complete the CUFYUGP with a specific number of courses of total 177 credits, including 8 credits from an optional graduate project /dissertation in their Major/ allied discipline.
5. Honours students who have not undertaken their graduate project shall do two additional courses in the Major discipline, each comprising four credits.
6. Students who aspire to pursue research as a career may opt for Honours with Research stream in the fourth year. A four-year UG Degree (Honours with Research) in the Major Discipline shall be awarded to those who complete the CUFYUGP with a specific number of courses of total 177 credits, including 12 credits from a mandatory graduate research project /dissertation in their Major discipline.

COURSE STRUCTURE OF CUFYUGP
The duration of 3-year UG Degree programme shall be six semesters distributed in a period of three years, 4-year UG Degree (Honours) programme shall be eight semesters distributed in a period of four years, and 4-year UG Degree (Honours with Research) shall be eight
semesters distributed in a period of four years.

Enter the site www.admission.uoc.ac.in and click on the link "CUFYUGP 2024 - Apply Now" button. Next click on the "Apply now" button and enter the registration data and complete the personal information in the empty columns by strictly following the instructions in the window. (Mobile number and e-mail id of student/parent/guardian only to be furnished).CLICK "REGISTER" BUTTON.
Enter the OTP received in the registered mobile number.
CAP ID and password will be received in the registered mobile number through SMS

Online registration fee :
1. SC/ST Students : Rs. 195 /-.(Rupees One hundred and eighty five only)
2. Others : Rs. 470 /- (Rupees Four hundred and forty five only).

e) Post office For making payment, it is more preferable to use online internet banking facilities instead of UPI payment methods.
Remit the fee in any of the mode of payment mentioned above.
During the payment, the website will be redirected to the University of Calicut-Instant Web Payment System (CUIWPS) page where the student can select the desired choice of payment. (In case, the payment fails, the candidate will have to re-login and do the payment procedure once again to complete the payment and obtain the print out of the application). Those who have paid the fee, must login with their CAP ID and Security Key and take printout of their completed application before the closing date for online registration.
