Calicut University BEd Admission 2024-25 online Application starts on May 2nd week, 2024. Online application notification released for admissions to CU B.Ed programme (Two years - 4 semesters) for the academic year 2024-2025 in the Government Colleges/Aided Colleges/ University Teacher Education Centres/ Unaided Colleges affiliated to University of Calicut.
All candidates seeking admission to B.Ed programmes including (General merit/
Reservation/ Teacher Quota/Sports/Defence/Persons with disabilities/Community/ Management etc) should register through CAP site www.admission.uoc.ac.in or www.bedu.uoc.ac.in. Eligibility for Calicut University BEd Admission
BA/BSc Degree of the University of Calicut or a degree recognized as equivalent there to under 10+2+3 pattern with 50% marks in Part-I+II+III together / 50% Marks for Part-III alone or Masters Degree with minimum 50% marks or 10+2+5 pattern for Integrated M.A/M.Sc. Course or 10+2+3+2 pattern for M.Com. However 10+2+3 Pattern is not insisted for B.A/B.Sc degree holders under liberalized scheme of the University of Calicut.
Bachelor's in Engineering or Bachelor's in Technology with 55% marks in aggregate are eligible to apply for BEd programme in Physical Science and Mathematics optionals.
Age limit: There is no upper age limit for admission to B.Ed. Courses.
How to apply online for Calicut University BEd Admission 2024?
Stage I - CAP ID Creation
Candidate applying for B.Ed 2024 shall initially create a CAP ID by providing the basic details using the "NEW CAP REGISTRATION" link provided in the www.admission.uoc.ac BEd 2024 registration page. Mobile number of students/ parents/guardian only to be furnished. After successful submission of the details, CAP ID and Password will be sent to the registered mobile number instantly. Registration Completion: With the CAP ID and Password received in the registered mobile number, the candidate can login and fill the registration page by providing required data. Candidates shall take utmost care while selecting the reservation category, weightage etc during the filling up of registration data.

Candidate should verify the data given in the verification page (On verifying if there exists any mistakes, edit the application using Edit Registration button). After the verification, click on the "Proceed to Payment" button and make payment. During the payment, the website will be redirected to the University of Calicut Instant Web Payment System (CUIWPS) page where the student can select the Payment Mode and make payment
Stage II - Payment for completing the Registration process
Payment of fee for online registration can be made only through e-payment system (SBI online/SBI e-chalan/ payment gateway system/ Friends Janasevana Kendram/Akshayakendras).
Online Registration Fee:
For General Category candidates : Rs. 685/-
For SC/ST : Rs. 210/
Print out of application - Print out of the application will be provided only if the payment is successful. Candidate's application will be considered complete only if he/she has completed the above mentioned steps and is holding a finalised printout showing approved stamp on the candidates photo.
The print out of Online application and chalan/payment slips need not be sent to the University, but candidates are directed to keep the same with themselves and shall submit it to the colleges where he/she gets admission. Delayed, incomplete or defective applications will be summarily rejected without notice.
