The students aiming to secure seats across central departments and affiliated colleges under the Delhi University have date until June 7, 2026 (11:59 PM) to complete their online registrations.

NEP Structural Changes: One-Year vs Two-Year Master's
The big news in North and South Campus corridors this year is the introduction of one-year postgraduate programmes alongside the standard two-year curriculum.
Two-Year Master’s Programmes
Who can apply: Students currently in the final year (third or fourth year) of their regular undergraduate studies or those who have already completed their graduation.
Status: Registrations are currently LIVE on the primary CSAS-PG portal.
One-Year Master’s Programmes
Who can apply: Candidates who have completed a 4-year undergraduate Bachelor’s Honours degree specifically with a Research or Entrepreneurship track, or those with a 4-year degree majoring in the concerned subject.
Status: Admissions will launch shortly via a separate dedicated portal to be announced by the university.
Eligibility Criteria & Application Fees
While the graduation percentage marks no longer dictate the absolute merit lists, satisfying minimum eligibility thresholds remains mandatory:
- General / OBC-NCL / EWS: A minimum of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in the qualifying undergraduate degree.
- SC / ST / PwBD: A minimum of 45% marks in the qualifying undergraduate degree.
- The Paper Code Rule: Merely appearing in CUET-PG is not enough. You must ensure that the specific CUET-PG subject paper code you attempted matches the rigorous Program-Specific Eligibility criteria listed in the DU PG Bulletin of Information 2026.
Fee Breakdown
The registration fee is non-refundable and must be paid for each program selected:
UR, OBC-NCL, and EWS Categories: ₹250 per programme.
SC, ST, and PwBD Categories: ₹100 per programme.
How to Apply For CSAS PG Admission 2026-27
The registration process is divided into three streamlined phases. Because of the heavy volume of applicants, students are strictly advised to submit their forms at least 3 to 4 days prior to the deadline.
-
1. Account Creation & Authentication (Step 1):
Navigate to pgadmission.uod.ac.in. Register using your active CUET-PG 2026 application number. The portal will automatically initiate synchronization with DigiLocker to map your identity documents. -
2. Profile Completion & Document Checklist (Step 2):
Verify the auto-fetched fields carefully. For elements requiring manual uploads (like recent photographs, signatures, or specific sub-category certificates), upload clear files under 1024 KB in size. -
3. Programme Selection & Mapping (Step 3):
Select the postgraduate courses you qualify for. Ensure your undergraduate majors map correctly to the university’s program requirements. -
4. Fee Payment & Form Freezing (Step 4):
Pay the designated registration fee using digital payment gateways. Download and securely archive the application confirmation page for future counseling rounds.
Critical Warning for Reserved Categories:
If you are applying under the OBC-NCL or EWS reservation quotas, your certificates must be issued on or after March 31, 2026. Older financial year certificates are legally invalid for this admission cycle and will result in immediate seat cancellation during internal verification.
Strategy for Seat Allocation: Freeze vs. Upgrade
Once the initial registration phase closes on June 7, the university will declare seat allocation lists in successive rounds. Students will face two essential choices on their dashboards:
Freeze: If you are satisfied with the allocated college and department, choosing "Freeze" locks your admission and takes you out of subsequent allocation loops.
Upgrade: If you wish to retain your currently allotted seat but want to gamble for a higher preference option in subsequent lists, select "Upgrade". This keeps your current seat safe while exploring higher preferences.
Missed the Deadline? The Mid-Entry Facility
For students who somehow miss the June 7 registration cutoff, DU offers a safety net. You can apply via the Mid-Entry Facility during subsequent spot admission rounds. However, this incurs a hefty, non-refundable penalty fee of ₹1,000.
